WASHINGTON, PA – Oct. 19, 2018 – Advanced Surgical Hospital, a physician-owned acute care hospital specializing in orthopedic surgery, today announced that the hospital has been named one of 2018’s Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania by The Pittsburgh Business Times.
This is the fifth time since 2013 that the hospital has received this recognition: it was also named to the annual Best Places to Work list in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018.
“We are honored to be chosen once again as one of the Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania,” says CEO Anne Hast. “This recognition reflects and reinforces our team’s commitment to providing our patients with outstanding care and exemplary clinical service.”
In addition to inpatient and outpatient orthopedic surgery, Advanced Surgical Hospital specializes in a “continuum of care” that includes pre-surgery therapy, MRI imaging, pain management and post-operative rehabilitation, including physical and occupational therapies. It features a 14-bed inpatient unit to accommodate patients requiring overnight stays.
The hospital was nominated in the category for workplaces with 50 to 149 employees. Winners were celebrated at a special luncheon and will be recognized in a special Pittsburgh Business Times supplement.
